England...almost there

This past few days Manuel and I have been busy packing and moving out of our apartment of 3 months, to stay with my wonderful grandparents in Shingle Springs for a few days to await the final part of our visa process. All we have left to do is wait. Which is a hard thing to do, but hey, it strengthens us right?
Our small apartment was filled more than we realized...thank goodness grandma and grandpa came down to help us out, we wouldn't have made it without their truck!
As we drove down highway 80 we had to stop a few times and tighten the loads, but grandpa's knot knowledge was put to good use. :)

Our truck.
Please keep us in prayer as we wait that God would work out everything we need in order to pass this application process. We'll keep you posted once we get the visas and our airline tickets.

  1. AAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe you're really gone. I keep waiting for you to show up to do laundry, or watch a movie. I am praying and praying for you. I highly encourage you to take this time to connect with each other. It may seem like God's plan is on hold until you get your departure date, but it's not. This IS part of the plan. Spend time as Manuel and Angie, not as intern directors, youth leaders, or employees. You have a unique opportunity to devote time to each other. Start out your England adventure fresh and in sync. Share scripture, pray, dream together. Try your best to get on the same page as much as possible while you have time and relatively no responsibilities.

I love you both. I can't wait to see all God is able to do because you were willing to go. Thanks for blogging!
