Hey Family,
Sorry our posts have been so few and far between, we have no excuse anymore now that we have internet at our apartment, so our deepest apologies!
We’ve been getting back into the groove of work and daily chores since getting back from Fiji. Manuel works 6AM-2PM and I work part time right now 12:30-5PM. It’s not to bad considering our schedules allow for time to do our school. I just finished my last semester of my AA degree in Education and will be beginning my BA in teaching secondary language arts and English as a second language. All that mouth full to say, I can teach middle school and high school English, or specialize in a class who is learning English on top of their mother tongue.
Manuel will hopefully start at Azusa Pacific University in the Fall going for his AA in general education and then moving on to a possible business degree. We’re doing this all by correspondence so we can still work and go to school at the same time. As you can imagine this is racking up quite a bill in student loans. So we’ve become creative in ways to save and earn some extra cash. For example, I was given the idea by one of my mother-in-law’s friends to sell the cinnamon rolls that my mom used to make us all the time. I carried on the tradition with my husband’s family and they are sure it’ll bring in some extra dough (yes that pun was intended).
Amidst all this, we’re trying to get a date set so we can thank all our supporters in person. We’d like to have a big spaghetti dinner just to say thanks and we appreciate you.
We’re really looking forward to what God’s doing and we’re going to get done with our school as quickly as possible so we can continue our pursuit of getting to India for a longer term. In the mean time though, a short trip to reconnect and work out some details is in the works. Please pray that we work around God’s timing and His heart is the center of all our planning.
As always, we love to hear from you guys! If you have any good news, prayer requests, or would just like to email with us, send s some mail at manny.angie.coelho@gmail.com
Thank you for all you guys do.
We love you!
We love you and are SO proud of you!!!
